About the Role:
As a Front Desk Clerk in the Administration Department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth front desk operations and delivering exceptional service to patients and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Professionally welcome patients upon their arrival
  • Maintain a strong understanding of customer service principles
  • Accurately manage demographic, insurance, and financial information
  • Organize and oversee patient records
  • Assist with various clerical duties, including handling mail and answering phone calls
  • Process payments and conduct exit interviews
  • Complete financial and patient documentation
  • Support the registration process and appointment scheduling
  • Contribute to safety and infection control protocols
  • Engage in performance improvement initiatives
  • Exhibit outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Comply with company policies and maintain a professional appearance
  • Participate in mandatory meetings and training sessions
  • Remain adaptable to staffing needs
  • Ensure adherence to attendance standards
  • Adjust to changes in job assignments
Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of office experience in a healthcare environment preferred
  • Previous customer service experience is valued
  • Effective communication skills, both in-person and over the phone
  • Basic understanding of medical terminology
SKILLS
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
  • Capable of performing basic math and reasoning tasks
  • Proficient in computer skills
CERTIFICATE/LICENSES
  • BLS certification required
