Tibor Machine Products stands at the forefront of the contract machining sector, recognized as one of the premier machining firms in the Midwest. We excel in managing production volumes ranging from initial prototypes to full-scale manufacturing.

We are in search of a skilled Quality Assurance Inspector for the 1st Shift at our Bridgeview Facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections and document measurement outcomes for First Piece layout approvals.
  • Evaluate incoming materials, work-in-progress, and finished products to ensure compliance with customer specifications and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Perform visual and measurement assessments in accordance with established company protocols.
  • Utilize Brown & Sharpe Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) with proficiency in PC-DMIS.
  • Set up and dismantle inspection gauges for production processes.
  • Capable of lifting and maneuvering components weighing up to 30 lbs.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent educational background.
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a Quality Assurance role or a related position within a metal manufacturing context.
  • Detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in geometry and computer applications.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints effectively.
  • Solid understanding of GD&T and experience with various inspection tools.
  • Willingness to work a schedule of four 10-hour days, Monday through Thursday, with overtime on Fridays and Saturdays as needed.
