We are seeking a highly skilled Community Affairs Officer to join our team at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in promoting community development and financial inclusion initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and host outreach and training events to educate bankers and community stakeholders on the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and community development lending, investment, and services.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to OCC-supervised banks on CRA and community development matters.
  • Support OCC supervisory teams on examinations by reviewing banks' CRA strategic plans and community development data.
  • Research and analyze community development and financial services needs, and develop recommendations for OCC initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community development organizations and other public interest groups.
Requirements
  • One year of specialized experience in bank supervision, community development, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of the Community Reinvestment Act and community development lending, investment, and services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
