Job Description

As an Account Manager at O'Neal Industries Inc., you will be responsible for managing sales activities of assigned accounts by performing the following duties:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by responding to customer inquiries, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining customer orders to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and sustain effective supplier and customer relationships to maintain a competitive position in the marketplace.
  • Work closely with the Territory Manager to maintain lists of prospects and potentially new accounts to grow new business and achieve established budget targets.
  • Maximize productivity by effectively planning, organizing, and managing workload.
  • Review market analyses to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, and discount rates.
  • Communicate with the Territory Manager to assist in developing sales campaigns to accommodate goals of assigned customers.
Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree in marketing, business administration, or a finance-related field is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of related metal industry sales experience preferred.
  • Effective communication skills, including verbal and written.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Willingness to learn proprietary programs.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Basic math skills are essential.
