Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain processes to ensure finished product quality and regulatory compliance.
- Lead and manage a quality department to achieve business objectives.
- Collaborate with plant operations to maintain a culture of food safety and quality.
- Investigate and resolve non-conformance events.
- Manage hold and release programs, and track and report on plant quality KPIs.
- Participate in the annual plant budgeting process and identify key capital projects.
- Provide training and leadership to plant personnel on food safety, FSMA, and regulatory compliance.
- Manage plant complaint investigations and customer-related issues.
- Undergraduate degree in food science, biological sciences, or related field.
- 5-8 years of quality assurance or related experience in a food or beverage facility.
- Demonstrated leadership attributes, team leadership, or supervisory experience.
- Certification and/or license in PCQI, HACCP, or SQF Practitioner preferred.
