Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain processes to ensure finished product quality and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead and manage a quality department to achieve business objectives.
  • Collaborate with plant operations to maintain a culture of food safety and quality.
  • Investigate and resolve non-conformance events.
  • Manage hold and release programs, and track and report on plant quality KPIs.
  • Participate in the annual plant budgeting process and identify key capital projects.
  • Provide training and leadership to plant personnel on food safety, FSMA, and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage plant complaint investigations and customer-related issues.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in food science, biological sciences, or related field.
  • 5-8 years of quality assurance or related experience in a food or beverage facility.
  • Demonstrated leadership attributes, team leadership, or supervisory experience.
  • Certification and/or license in PCQI, HACCP, or SQF Practitioner preferred.
