Quality Inspector Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team at PeopleReady in Richmond, IN. As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections during various stages of production to ensure customer specifications are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth inspections to verify product quality and identify defects
  • Investigate root causes of product defects and implement corrective actions
  • Maintain and troubleshoot QA devices to ensure accurate testing
  • Test products based on industry standards and report any issues to management
  • Assist with production tasks as needed and provide support to the production team

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of QA/QC experience
  • Ability to stand, lift, and bend frequently
  • Ability to lift at least 30 lbs
  • Meticulous attention to detail and basic math skills
  • Strong communication skills and knowledge of calipers, micrometers, and other gauges
  • Drug test required
