Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnostic Imaging: Performs a variety of diagnostic radiographic examinations, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans, to produce high-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers.
  • Equipment Operation: Operates complex stationary and mobile diagnostic equipment, including X-ray machines, CT scanners, and MRI machines, to produce high-quality images.
  • Task Management: Ensures that routine and priority tasks are completed within established departmental time frames, including preparing patients for examinations, positioning patients, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Communication: Explains and educates patients on the examination process, medications, and contrast media, and associated biological effects in a clear and professional manner to alleviate fear and anxiety.
  • Mentorship: Mentors and fosters a constructive environment that helps students and new technologists build confidence in their skills, knowledge, and abilities.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program.
  • Certification: CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire.
  • Experience: 2 years recent relevant experience.
Working Conditions

This is a per diem/casual position, working varied shifts, including weekends as needed. The pay range for this role is $60.81 to $76.00 per hour.
