Job Title: Claims Advocate

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Duration: 06 Months

Working hours Tuesday - Saturday start time between 6am - 8am, (8am - 530pm for training for the first 5 weeks.)

The company is looking for candidates with auto claims adjusting experience, 4 years of non-injury or 2 years injury for the basic qualifications

About the Role

As a US Claims Advocate, you will investigate, manage, and submit claims for compensation that occur throughout the region in connection. You will also work in collaboration with our third-party insurance partners with a focus on timely routing and escalation of claims. As a subject matter expert, you will assist with more complex inquiries while mentoring fellow associates on the team. This role will be a hybrid onsite/work from home schedule once offices reopen, and is available in both weekday and weekend (Thursday-Monday) shifts

Key Responsibilities
  1. Investigate and submit new claims to insurance carriers by reviewing first reports of loss and supporting materials to accurately identify insurance exposure and determine applicable insurance policy
  2. Demonstrate critical thinking while adhering to established claims processes.
  3. Apply existing knowledge to assist with higher complexity claims and insurance inquiries
  4. Accurately respond to inquiries received from carriers and other third parties
  5. Demonstrate customer obsession and solid understanding of insurance policies when communicating with all partners
  6. Utilize strong written/electronic communication. Primary method of communication in role is electronic. Telephonic communication is minimal
Requirements
  • High School Degree or equivalent
  • Knowledge of US auto claims coverages
  • 2+ years of auto claims management experience OR 1+ year bodily injury adjusting experience
  • Proficiency with various computer operating systems
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Claims designation obtained or in progress a plus
  • Experience with bodily injury claims handling experience with a major insurance carrier
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
  • Extraordinary attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain quality in a fast-paced, high volume environment
  • High degree of adaptability to meet changing business needs
  • Proficient in multi-tasking through various technology platforms
  • Compromises when necessary in order to help the team achieve goals
  • Ability to mentor members of the Claims team and serve as an insurance and claims subject matter expert
  • Demonstrated ability to enhance business process in the claims environment with a high degree of complexity
