We are in search of a Merchandising Coordinator to bolster our expanding team. This role is pivotal in delivering high-level merchandising assistance through the research, procurement, and quotation of promotional items and apparel. The position also entails meticulous recordkeeping, maintenance of key business processes, vendor collaboration, effective communication follow-through, and customer support. Reporting directly to the Director of Merchandising, this role is integral to our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Merchandising Team in conceptualizing and sourcing promotional products, accessories, and apparel for significant client accounts.
  • Collaborate with domestic and international vendors to source and quote branded merchandise and point-of-sale materials for key clients.
  • Create product presentations and mock-ups for client approval.
  • Generate, submit, and monitor purchase orders to vendors and decorators.
  • Assist the Director of Merchandising in ensuring timelines are adhered to and merchandise is delivered by the required dates.
  • Review and approve artwork and logo pre-production samples.
  • Maintain and update the vendor/item database to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Oversee the setup of new items in internal and customer systems.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends.
  • Contribute to and support departmental initiatives.
Required Skills:
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
  • Innovative and strategic thinker.
  • Excellent organizational capabilities along with proven problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator is highly preferred.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Merchandising, Marketing, or a related field.
Physical Requirements:
  • Extended periods of sitting at a desk and utilizing a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
