Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Store Management, Buyers, and Visual Manager to achieve corporate, store, image, and marketing objectives.
  • Utilize creativity to create a welcoming environment for customers, providing a setting that meets their needs and wants while driving sales and volume.
  • Implement changes sent by Corporate, including setting floor models, updating price tags, and ensuring all merchandise is properly tagged and displayed.
  • Work with Inventory Specialists to ensure accurate store and company inventory, and run AIR reports to determine inventory needs.
  • Participate in floor walk-throughs to ensure displays are presented in a positive and appealing manner.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail, ensuring all displays are well-organized and visually appealing.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in sales and decorating, preferably with Big Sandy or another retailer.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to concentrate well and work within tight deadlines, with a high level of self-motivation and practicality.
  • Flair for design and color, with the ability to use large and small spaces effectively.
