Job Summary:

Volt is seeking a skilled Electrical Manufacturing Associate to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining production machinery, troubleshooting and resolving production problems, and ensuring the quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and Maintain Production Machinery: Ensure the smooth operation of production equipment, perform routine maintenance tasks, and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
  • Troubleshoot and Resolve Production Problems: Identify and resolve production issues in a timely and efficient manner, minimizing downtime and ensuring productivity.
  • Inspect and Test Products: Conduct quality checks on products to ensure they meet our high standards, and make any necessary adjustments to ensure quality.
  • Record Production Data: Accurately record production data, including metrics and outcomes, to help us improve our processes and increase efficiency.
  • Interpret Assembly Drawings and Blueprints: Understand and interpret assembly drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate production and assembly of products.
  • Assemble and Test Products: Assemble and test products to quality standards, ensuring that they meet our high standards.
  • Identify and Address Production Issues: Identify potential production issues and take proactive steps to address them, minimizing downtime and ensuring productivity.
  • Monitor Performance and Make Adjustments: Continuously monitor performance and make adjustments as needed to ensure that we are meeting our production targets.
  • Follow Established Production Methods and Safety Protocols: Adhere to established production methods and safety protocols to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Collaborate with a Team: Work collaboratively with a team to meet production targets, share knowledge and expertise, and support each other in achieving our goals.

Requirements:

  • IPC Solder Certification: Possess IPC solder certification or equivalent experience.
  • Electrical/Technical Background: Have a strong electrical or technical background, with experience in production and manufacturing.
  • Clean Room Experience: Have experience working in a clean room environment, with a strong understanding of clean room protocols and procedures.
  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree: Possess an associate or bachelor's degree in a related field, such as electrical engineering or manufacturing engineering.
  • Production and Manufacturing Experience: Have 3-5 years of experience in production and manufacturing, with a strong understanding of production processes and procedures.
  • Electronic Product Manufacturing Experience: Have experience in electronic product manufacturing within an ISO9001 environment, with a strong understanding of quality control procedures and protocols.
  • Ability to Learn and Adapt: Be able to learn and adapt to new production processes and procedures, with a strong ability to follow instructions and safety protocols.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members and management.
  • Analytical and Detail-Oriented Skills: Have strong analytical and detail-oriented skills, with the ability to identify and resolve production issues.
  • Organizational and Time Management Skills: Possess strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to Lift and Move Objects: Be able to lift and move objects weighing 20-30 lbs, with a strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Business Application Software: Possess proficiency in Microsoft Office and business application software, including ERP, SAP, MRP, and SaaS.
