**Position Summary**: We are currently seeking a **Mechanic** for our service center. This role involves performing essential mechanical and maintenance tasks that are critical to our operations.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assemble, test, disassemble, inspect, and paint electric motors with precision.
- Execute various assembly tasks while adhering to customer specifications.
- Ensure quality control of all work submitted for testing.
- Accurately complete all related documentation.
- Interpret and utilize technical drawings, sketches, and repair manuals effectively.
- Provide constructive feedback to engineering regarding assembly and testing discrepancies.
- Availability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed to meet production demands.
**Basic Qualifications**:
- Proficiency in multiple craft skills necessary for the repair and manufacture of electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Skilled in using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
- Knowledgeable in the maintenance and handling of anti-friction bearings.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Capability to follow instructions provided in various formats.
- Mathematical proficiency to perform calculations involving whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Effective presentation skills for one-on-one and small group interactions.
- High school diploma or equivalent, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Understanding of dynamic balancing of rotors and rotating elements.
