Overview:
We are currently seeking a full-time Catering Supervisor to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate catering staff schedules to ensure timely delivery, service, and cleanup of all events.
- Prepare and serve food at designated functions under the guidance of the Catering Director.
- Manage logistics for food and beverage delivery to various catered events.
Essential Duties:
- Assess workload requirements based on catering orders.
- Collaborate with event leaders to finalize setup arrangements and address any last-minute changes.
- Engage with clients to resolve any service-related issues effectively.
- Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of menu offerings.
- Guide staff on expectations and responsibilities for catered events.
- Assist in setting up venues according to specifications.
- Deliver food and supplies to scheduled locations.
- Serve food and beverages to guests with attention to detail.
- Return leftover food, beverages, and equipment to the catering facility.
- Ensure food presentation, portion control, and temperature maintenance adhere to safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all catering equipment and supplies.
- Follow approved recipes and production standards for food preparation.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A valid driver's license may be necessary.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers permit as required by law.
