About the Role

The Stormwater Compliance Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the City's stormwater management systems comply with regulations and industry standards. This position is responsible for inspecting development and public works projects, reviewing SWPPP documents, and implementing measures to prevent pollution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect development and public works projects for SWPPP compliance
  • Review SWPPP documents and implement measures to prevent pollution
  • Collaborate with engineers, developers, and contractors to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Conduct training sessions for City staff and other groups on stormwater pollution prevention

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related field
  • At least 6 years of experience in stormwater management or a related field
  • Knowledge of MS4 permit requirements and Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders

Estimated Salary: $73,691 - $94,859 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
