POSITION SUMMARY:

The role is essential in achieving sales targets by effectively merchandising and servicing designated accounts while fulfilling additional related responsibilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following tasks represent general duties that an employee in this position may be required to perform. The specific responsibilities may vary.

  • Organize shelving, rotate products, and ensure accurate shelf pricing.
  • Construct, merchandise, and uphold all secondary and promotional displays to meet company standards.
  • Stock and maintain all coolers, vendors, and racks to standard during each visit (if applicable).
  • Visit each account as per the established schedule.
  • Establish, develop, and sustain a strong relationship with each account.
  • Oversee, rotate, and manage back-stock where applicable.
  • Collect and sort damaged products into designated areas.
  • Report all customer requests to your immediate supervisor.
  • Participate actively in all scheduled meetings.
  • Attend all training sessions as required.
  • Adhere to all company and customer safety guidelines and policies.
  • Execute other job-related duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION:

  • Equivalent of a high school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in merchandising, sales, and/or customer interaction.
  • Proficient in office equipment including, but not limited to, computers, phones, fax machines, copiers, and calculators.
  • Familiarity with MS Office applications, including Word and Excel.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

The following environmental conditions are commonly associated with this position. Actual working conditions may vary.

  • Office environment.
  • Travel to and from customer accounts (interior/exterior working conditions).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Lift/Carry: 12lbs or less frequently, 13-25lbs frequently, 26-40lbs frequently, 41-100lbs occasionally.
  • Push/Pull: 12lbs or less frequently, 13-25lbs frequently, 26-40lbs frequently, 41-100lbs frequently.
  • Other: Bend frequently, squat/kneel frequently, twist/turn frequently, climb occasionally, crawl occasionally, reach above shoulder frequently, reach outward frequently, stand/walk frequently, sit frequently, drive auto/stand frequently, type/keypunch occasionally.
