Job Overview

Ambassador Personnel is seeking qualified candidates for multiple Logistics Warehouse Operator roles.

Position Overview:

The Warehouse Operator plays a crucial role in managing the flow of materials within the distribution center. This position involves verifying inventory levels, maintaining accurate documentation, and safely operating warehouse machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Label pallets with specific store details
  • Operate lift equipment (manual pallet jack or forklift) after completing necessary training and certification
  • Gather and prepare items for store inventory replenishment
  • Utilize a handheld radio frequency device (RF Scanner)
  • Prior experience in a warehouse setting is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Interpret safety guidelines, instructions, and procedural documents
  • Perform basic arithmetic operations accurately: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals

Shift Expectations:

  • Commitment to completing the full scheduled shift is essential. Flexibility to assist on alternate shifts is appreciated.
  • Overtime, including weekends and holidays, may be required with minimal notice.

Dress Code:

Professional attire is required, including well-fitting waist-high jeans (not baggy), and a clean shirt or sweatshirt without logos or inappropriate content.

Physical Demands:

The physical requirements for this position include:

  • Regularly standing, walking, using hands and fingers, reaching, talking, and hearing
  • Frequent kneeling, crouching, or stooping
  • Occasional sitting, climbing, or balancing
  • Regularly lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds, and frequently lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds. Items over 50 pounds will require assistance.
  • Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

The work environment characteristics include:

  • Bending and reaching into stationary containers to retrieve products
  • Standing and walking for extended periods
  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts while operating equipment
  • Potential for high noise levels in the work area

Conversion to Full-Time:

Many contractors have the opportunity to transition to full-time positions. Eligibility requirements include:

  • Minimum age of 18 years
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED/Home School)
  • Eligibility to work in the United States
