Job Summary

The Automotive F&I Secretary is responsible for preparing deals to be sent to the Billing Clerk. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Submit paperwork to and obtain approval from finance sources on all finance deals.
  • Ensure that all required documentation is obtained and submitted to the finance source so that finance contract can be paid in a timely manner.
  • Work with Sales Manager to secure a reasonable profit from every sale.
  • Check all paperwork for correct title, lien information, taxes, etc.
  • Establish and meet monthly objectives.
  • Verify insurance with customers' agents, obtain deposits, verify trade payoffs.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
Requirements
  • Automotive dealership experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of dealership finance and insurance procedures.
  • High school diploma or the equivalent.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  • Computer knowledge preferred.
  • Professional personal appearance.
  • Excellent communication skills.
