Role Responsibilities:
As an Overnight Front Desk Associate, your primary responsibility will be to deliver exceptional customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring a remarkable Judgement Free experience. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Welcoming members and guests as they arrive and depart, addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Promoting our Judgement Free Zone by engaging with members on the gym floor and supporting their fitness journeys while adhering to club policies.
  • Resolving member issues and escalating to management when necessary.
  • Answering phone calls in a courteous manner and assisting callers with their questions.
  • Handling membership-related tasks such as sign-ups, updates, cancellations, and payment collections.
  • Conducting prospective member tours and assessing their membership needs.
  • Accurately processing retail transactions and contributing to sales goals.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of exercise equipment and amenities.
  • Ensuring restrooms are clean, stocked, and organized according to cleaning schedules.
  • Regularly inspecting all areas of the club for safety and cleanliness, addressing any concerns promptly.
  • Reporting maintenance issues and ensuring equipment is in good working order.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The hourly pay range for this position is $16.00 to $17.25, with the potential for adjustments based on various factors.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred experience of 6-12 months in a customer service role.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Willingness to obtain CPR/AED certification (training provided).
  • Basic computer skills are required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and move throughout the club during shifts.
  • Effective communication in person and over the phone.
  • Capability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Exposure to cleaning chemicals during shifts.
  • Regular cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and facilities.
  • Flexibility to bend and twist to complete tasks.
