Key Responsibilities:
As an Overnight Front Desk Associate, your primary responsibility will be to deliver exceptional customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring a memorable and positive experience.

Your daily tasks will include:

  • Welcoming members and guests as they arrive and depart, addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Promoting our Judgement Free Zone by engaging with members on the gym floor and supporting their fitness journeys while adhering to club policies.
  • Addressing member concerns and escalating issues to management when necessary.
  • Answering phone calls in a courteous manner and assisting callers with their questions.
  • Handling membership-related tasks such as sign-ups, updates, cancellations, and payment collections.
  • Conducting prospective member tours and assessing their membership needs.
  • Processing retail transactions accurately and striving to meet sales goals.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all exercise equipment and communal areas, including restrooms.
  • Regularly inspecting all club areas to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met.
  • Promptly addressing maintenance issues and reporting any facility concerns.

Compensation and Benefits:
The hourly wage for this position ranges from $16.00 to $17.25, with the possibility of adjustments based on various factors. Planet Fitness offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 6-12 months of experience in a customer service role is preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Willingness to obtain CPR/AED certification (training provided).
  • Basic computer skills.

Physical Requirements:
The Overnight Front Desk Associate role involves:

  • Continuous standing and movement throughout the club.
  • Frequent communication in person and over the phone.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Exposure to cleaning chemicals.
  • Regular cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and facilities.
  • Flexibility to bend and twist to complete tasks.
