Role Responsibilities:
As an Overnight Front Desk Associate, your primary responsibility will be to deliver exceptional customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring a superior non-judgmental experience.

Your daily tasks will include:

  • Welcoming members and guests as they enter and exit the facility, addressing any inquiries or concerns during check-in.
  • Promoting our non-judgmental atmosphere by engaging with members on the gym floor, offering assistance, and supporting their fitness goals while adhering to club policies.
  • Addressing member concerns and escalating issues to management when necessary.
  • Answering phone calls in a courteous manner and assisting callers with their questions.
  • Managing membership-related tasks such as sign-ups, updates to contact and billing information, cancellations, and collecting outstanding balances.
  • Conducting calls and tours for prospective members to assess their membership needs.
  • Processing retail transactions accurately and contributing to sales objectives.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all exercise equipment and amenities, including communal areas and assigned spaces.
  • Ensuring restrooms are clean, stocked, and organized by following a routine cleaning schedule.
  • Conducting regular walkthroughs of the facility to promptly address safety and cleanliness issues.
  • Reporting maintenance and facility concerns, such as broken or missing equipment.

Compensation and Benefits:
The hourly wage for this position ranges from $16.00 to $17.25. Planet Fitness reserves the right to adjust compensation based on various factors unrelated to protected class status.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • 6-12 months of experience in a customer service setting is preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • A willingness to obtain CPR/AED certification (training provided).
  • Basic computer skills.

Physical Requirements:
The Overnight Front Desk Associate role involves:

  • Continuous standing and movement throughout the facility during shifts.
  • Regular communication in person or via phone to exchange information.
  • The ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Exposure to cleaning chemicals during shifts.
  • Frequent cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and facilities.
  • Engaging in various physical movements, including bending and twisting, to complete tasks.
