Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Ophthalmic Clinic Scribe to join our team at Retina Consultants of Texas. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely documentation of patient examinations and treatments. Your exceptional communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment will be essential in ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately document patient examinations, including medical history, symptoms, and treatment plans.
  • Ensure that all documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support the clinical team.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least 6 months of experience in a medical office setting, preferably in ophthalmology.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of medical software.
