Key Responsibilities:
- Organize, modify, evaluate, document, and maintain the plan of care for emergency department patients.
- Provide individualized, holistic, family-centered, and safe care to patients.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and guest relations.
- Perform laboratory point-of-care testing and follow up on lab specimens.
- Document accurately and maintain patient confidentiality.
Requirements:
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or equivalent.
- Current Texas LVN license.
- Minimum 1 year of emergency room experience or comparable clinical experience.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions: The LVN will work in a fast-paced emergency room environment, requiring the ability to lift and move patients using proper body mechanics. The employee must be flexible and service-oriented, with a strong commitment to customer service.
