We are currently seeking an Electrical Project Coordinator to deliver technical assistance and oversee project execution. This role is pivotal in ensuring that projects are managed effectively, drawing on a blend of project management expertise, technical proficiency, and field experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the execution of design tasks for assigned projects, both independently and as the head of the project team.
  • Organize, schedule, and guide engineers, designers, and subcontractors to achieve project objectives.
  • Develop or oversee the creation of project scopes, schedules, and cost assessments.
  • Facilitate internal and external quality assurance and design review meetings throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure that technical standards and specifications are correctly implemented in all projects.
  • Complete all activities in alignment with the established design and project execution protocols as outlined in our Quality Management System.
  • Maintain and nurture client relationships within the designated region.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in the utility sector, with additional experience in heavy industrial engineering projects such as manufacturing, steel, mining, materials processing, and power generation being advantageous.
  • Proficient in current software applications, including MS Office Suite and Microsoft Project.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and control principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proven ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
  • Must be able to pass a post-offer drug and alcohol screening in accordance with federal regulations, with ongoing random testing as a condition of employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP Certification is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrated success in leadership roles managing engineering and design teams within a consulting engineering context.
