Job Overview

We are currently seeking an Electrical Project Coordinator to offer technical assistance and oversee project execution. Candidates will be evaluated based on their project management skills, technical expertise, and field experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead design activities for assigned projects, ensuring successful execution through both personal efforts and team leadership.
  • Organize and direct engineers, designers, and subcontractors to achieve project objectives.
  • Prepare or oversee the creation of project scopes, schedules, and cost estimates.
  • Facilitate internal and external quality and design review meetings throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with technical standards and specifications across all projects.
  • Adhere to design and project execution protocols as outlined in the corporate Quality Management System.
  • Maintain and nurture client relationships within the designated region.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in the utility sector, with additional experience in heavy industrial engineering fields such as manufacturing, steel, mining, materials processing, and power generation being advantageous.
  • Proficient in current software applications, including MS Office Suite and Microsoft Project.
  • Strong understanding of project management tools and principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A proven ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
  • Must be able to pass a post-offer drug and alcohol test in accordance with Federal regulations, and is subject to random testing as a condition of continued employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP Certification is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrated success in leadership roles managing engineering and design teams within a consulting engineering context.
