Key Responsibilities
  • Answer phones and greet patients in a professional and friendly manner
  • Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
  • Collect copays and outstanding balances
  • Perform various front desk tasks, including filing, faxing, and data entry
  • Develop knowledge of multiple insurances, referral, and authorization processes
  • Troubleshoot insurance claims issues and resolve patient concerns
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility with hours and local area travel
  • Computer proficiency for an electronic office environment
  • Ability to work in multiple software programs and applications
  • Patience and compassion in dealing with patients and colleagues
