Job Summary:The Dentist will be responsible for monitoring quality assurance activities, developing and coordinating oral health activities, and ensuring that staff carry out their duties in accordance with Health Center policies and program guidelines.
Responsibilities:- Monitor quality assurance activities pertaining to dental services
- Develop and coordinate all oral health activities of the health facility
- Ensure staff carry out duties in accordance with Health Center policies and program guidelines
- Maintain accurate and complete records of activities
- Assist in the development of departmental protocols and procedures
- Adhere to the MACT Health Board, Inc. Corporate Code of Conduct
- Comply with all MACT policies and procedures
- Graduation from an accredited Dental College
- License to practice dentistry in California and active DEA license
- Minimum of two years' professional experience in dentistry desirable
- Current AHA BLS CPR card
- Experience in working or desire to work in rural community setting
- Authoritative knowledge of the principles, practices, and techniques of dentistry
- Special knowledge in the prevention aspects of oral health and its related techniques and procedures
