Senior Residential Estimator Job Description

At Atlantic Group, we are seeking a skilled Senior Residential Estimator to join our team in Boston. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced estimator to drive the estimating process for high-end residential construction projects.

We offer a competitive salary of $130,000 - $160,000 per year, plus bonus. Our ideal candidate will have 15+ years of experience in Construction Estimating, with a focus on high-end residential projects.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Cost Estimation: Develop comprehensive estimates for residential construction projects, including detailed breakdowns of materials, labor, and equipment.
  • Project Management: Collaborate with project teams to ensure alignment between estimates and project goals, maintaining oversight throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Bid Coordination: Prepare bid packages, solicit proposals from subcontractors and vendors, and evaluate responses to ensure project needs are fully addressed.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify and evaluate potential risks in estimates, presenting findings to senior management for review.
  • Software Utilization: Leverage industry-standard software tools like Bluebeam, Procore, and Buildertrend to streamline estimating processes and maintain accurate records.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 15+ years of experience in Construction Estimating, with a focus on high-end residential projects.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with Bluebeam, Procore, Xactimate, and Buildertrend is highly preferred.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and organizational abilities, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage client and team relationships effectively.
