Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse at St. Anthony Community Hospital provides high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced clinical environment. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for assessing patients' needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients' physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, and develop individualized care plans to address these needs.
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and educating patients and families on health-related topics.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, and maintain confidentiality of patient records.
  • Participate in continuing education programs to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of nursing.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of New York.
  • BSN degree or higher.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a clinical setting.
  • Certification in a specialty area, such as pediatrics or critical care.
