Cardiovascular Technologist Role

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team at Providence Swedish. As a Cardiovascular Technologist, you will assist with the performance of various technical procedures, including percutaneous diagnostic and interventional cardiac/vascular procedures and open surgical procedures under the direct supervision of a physician.
Responsibilities include participating in all daily duties necessary to perform high-quality patient care and imaging within the Cath/IR Department. You will be responsible for obtaining optimal radiographs and assisting the physician in an aseptic environment. Additionally, you must be capable of patient monitoring and demonstrate knowledge of appropriate response to changes in patient condition.
The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree from a two-year invasive cardiovascular program or successful completion of a formal Radiologic Technologist program. Washington Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification upon hire is also required. National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists is preferred.

Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of a two-year invasive cardiovascular program or successful completion of a formal Radiologic Technologist program
- Washington Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification upon hire
- National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- 1 year of previous cath lab experience
- 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology
Preferred Qualifications:
- Interventional Radiology
- May consider less experience in an aspiring motivated candidate with RCIS licensure
Salary Range:
$52.37 - $79.67
