Job Title: Diesel Mechanic Preventative Maintenance Tech

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Preventative Maintenance Tech to join our team at Ryder in Marietta, Georgia. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on our fleet of heavy-duty vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance, including oil changes, brake and tire work, and other tasks as required.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computers and other tools.
  • Perform facility maintenance duties, including cleaning and organization of the maintenance area.
  • Interact with customers and drivers to determine the nature of complaints and assign tasks.
  • Perform other support duties as required to support operations.
Requirements:
  • Two (2) years or more of a combination of classroom training and work experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines.
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A, preferred.
  • Ability to obtain CDL within 6 months after hire.

  • Hourly pay: $24.50 per hour
