Diesel Mechanic Preventative Maintenance Technician

Ryder is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Preventative Maintenance Tech to join our team in Marietta, Georgia. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on our fleet of heavy-duty vehicles.
Responsibilities:- Perform routine preventative maintenance, including oil changes, brake and tire work
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electronic problems
- Replace defective components as instructed
- Perform facility maintenance duties
- Interact with customers/drivers to determine the nature of complaints
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Vocational or technical certification, post-secondary degree, or technical certifications preferred
- Basic tools required
- Demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines
- Two (2) years or more of a combination of classroom training and work experience in required experience, preferred
- Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A, preferred
