At U.S. Hunger, we are assembling a group of part-time associates who will travel nationwide to assist in leading and organizing meal packing initiatives that have successfully delivered over 150 million meals to communities in need.

We cover all travel expenses and offer a competitive wage of $15 per hour. Experience joy while combating hunger; consider this opportunity with U.S. Hunger, a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to addressing food insecurity.

Your Responsibilities
In this part-time (PRN) position, you will have the flexibility to create your own schedule. When engaged, your primary focus will be to ensure the successful execution of engaging and impactful events for our partners and volunteers across the nation.

If the prospect of traveling, learning about event management, interacting with volunteers, and making a difference in the fight against hunger excites you, this role could be a perfect fit. Key responsibilities include:

  • Building relationships with clients and volunteers while providing exceptional service during our initiatives.
  • Informing volunteers about U.S. Hunger and our various programs.
  • Overseeing the setup and breakdown of meal packing events.
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.

Work hours will vary based on project availability and your personal schedule. Please note that we cannot guarantee a fixed number of hours each week or month.

Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years old.
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Must possess a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and enthusiasm.
Attention to detail is essential.
Proven ability to effectively engage with large groups of individuals.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and remain active for extended periods.

A background check and driving history report will be required for this position.

Compensation
$15.00 per hour
