As a Phlebotomist at CSL Behring, you will play a critical role in the efficient and effective collection of plasma from donors. Your primary responsibility will be to perform venipuncture, monitor the pheresis process, and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure the highest quality of plasma collection.
Key Responsibilities- Perform venipuncture and collect plasma from donors in a safe and efficient manner.
- Monitor the pheresis process to ensure optimal plasma quality and donor safety.
- Follow SOPs and guidelines to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Phlebotomy certification or equivalent experience required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
