In your role at CubeSmart Self Storage, you will be tasked with overseeing and upkeeping your facility. This role requires expertise in both customer engagement and property upkeep.

The Facility Operations Manager is accountable for....

Customer Engagement:
Building customer relationships by identifying self-storage requirements and offering suitable solutions while delivering exceptional service.

Engaging face-to-face with clients, providing outstanding service, and fostering rapport.

Achieving monthly sales targets and performance metrics.

Conducting property inspections to perform lock checks and showcasing units to clients.

Working independently and collaboratively to rent self-storage units, sell store merchandise, manage the leasing process, process payments using our Point-of-Sale System (POS), complete daily bank deposits, and make courtesy calls to clients regarding overdue payments.

Overseeing the invoice review and approval process within the database.

Processing invoices, managing reports, and handling the legal aspects of auctions.

Monitoring the store's expense budget while maintaining inventory and supplies.

Property Upkeep:
Physical requirements include daily property walks, cleaning units and the facility, and operating storage doors (up to 50 lbs.).

Maintaining the facility, which includes mopping, sweeping, changing light bulbs, cleaning storage units, and similar light tasks.

Ensuring a clean and safe storage environment to meet company standards (i.e., clean restrooms, landscaping, parking, fencing, walls, doors).
