Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Final Inspection Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for verifying that our products meet customer requirements before shipping. This is a 1st shift opening with the hours of 6:30AM - 3:00PM, M-F, with overtime as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect products in-process and/or final inspection to meet quality standards
  • Identify product defects and make pass/fail decisions based on established procedures and standards
  • Identify nonconformance in completed products prior to shipment
  • Perform dimension, hole size, and thickness inspection on incoming products
  • May perform rework operations, including circuit touch-up to customer specs and requirements
  • Complete travelers and required customer reports, creating proper certification for outgoing products
  • Complete First Article dimension reports, documenting all dimensions, hole sizes, and thickness per customer blueprint, including documenting actual values as measurements are taken
  • Prepare products and documentation for source inspection, assisting source inspectors as needed
Requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain focus and accuracy while performing highly detailed work
  • Ability to produce quality work under pressure
  • Experience in usage of microscopes and basic inspection tools, including calipers, micrometers, and pin gauges
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Able to read and interpret manufacturing drawings, shop travelers, and written instructions
  • Knowledge of IPC-6012 standards beneficial
  • Able to read, interpret, and follow the IPC and Customer Specifications for both product requirements and inspection methods provided in English
  • Ability to sit in one place for extended periods of time (8 hour shift)
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • No experience required; we can train candidates with the essential knowledge and skills
  • PCB experience preferred, but not required; previous quality inspection experience or electronic assembly background helpful
Compensation and Benefits

TTM offers a variety of health and well-being benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, 401k, flexible spending, and health savings accounts. Benefits are available on the 1st of the month following date of hire. Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors, including skill sets, experience, and training. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $35,054 - $55,409. Additional compensation may apply based on position assignment, including an annual or quarterly company bonus and shift premium for alternative shifts.
