Job Summary

As a Fitness Ambassador at Planet Fitness, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to our members, prospective members, and guests. Your primary goal will be to create a positive and welcoming environment that makes our members feel valued and inspired to reach their fitness goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to members, prospective members, and guests, responding to their inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Facilitate the check-in process for members, handle new member sign-ups, and provide tours of our facilities.
  • Maintain the neatness and cleanliness of our club, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our members.
  • Assist in resolving member issues and escalate concerns to management as needed.
Requirements
  • Previous customer service experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Basic computer proficiency and a passion for fitness and health are essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with members and colleagues in a positive and professional manner.
  • Punctuality and reliability are must-haves, as well as a strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Physical Demands
  • Continual standing and walking during shift.
  • Continual talking in person or on the phone during shift.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
  • Occasional exposure to toxic chemicals.
