Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Powertrain Electrical Test Engineer to join our team at Optimal CAE. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues on vehicles at all build levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead powertrain electrical root cause analysis and determination of issues during all pilot phases.
  • Develop and implement electrical test plans to ensure quality and reliability of powertrain systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve electrical issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest electrical testing tools and technologies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
  • 3-5 years of experience in automotive electrical systems and component experience.
  • Knowledge of CDA, CAN, CANalizer, Canoe, and other electrical root cause tools.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
