Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced administrative professional to support our tax preparers during the peak season. As a seasonal tax admin, you will be responsible for providing critical administrative support to ensure a seamless workflow.

About the Role:

This is a temporary, part-time position that requires 20 hours of work per week with flexibility. The duration of the role is approximately 3 months, from January to April.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support tax preparers with administrative tasks
  • Manage phone calls and schedules
  • Offer top-notch customer service to clients
  • Help prepare tax documents
  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling personal documentation
  • Use tax software for data entry and processing
  • Complete other administrative tasks as needed

Your Background:

  • You have previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in an office setting
  • You excel at organizing and prioritizing tasks
  • You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with tax preparation processes is beneficial
  • You have some background in finance or accounting
  • Experience with AlterTax software is advantageous but not essential

Salary Information:

The estimated hourly wage for this role is between $25-$30, depending on your experience and qualifications.
