Nurse Specialist

Stamford Health is seeking a highly skilled Nurse Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent patient care skills and be proficient in patient assessment and pre/intra/post care for Electrophysiology patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver patient care utilizing the Nursing Process and following established standards of practice.
- Be proficient in patient assessment and pre/intra/post care particular to the Electrophysiology patient.
- Manage patients in the Cardiovascular Suite, including the cath lab and vascular interventional radiology population.
- Coordinate the operating schedule and supervise unit activities when assigned the charge role.
- Provide supervision of non-RN personnel.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Valid license as Registered Nurse in Connecticut.
- Maintain minimum of 6 contact hours annually.
- BCLS, ACLS.
- Modere Sedation.
- 2-3 year critical care experience (which includes ER experience or Cath Lab experience).
