Our respiratory care team works collaboratively with nursing and physician professionals to provide high-quality care. We encourage staff to participate in clinical and operational processes, education, and research activities.
ResponsibilitiesAs a respiratory care specialist, you will be involved in airway management, ventilatory support, asthma education, point-of-care testing, cystic fibrosis disease management, and emergency respiratory interventions.
You will work as part of our rapid response team and code team, valuing teamwork, open communication, safety, and respect. We foster an environment that encourages learning and professional growth, committed to providing excellent care to our patients and families.
Key Responsibilities- Perform delegated respiratory care treatments involving non-invasively ventilated patients in medical/surgical units in cooperation with assigned licensed respiratory therapist resources.
- Conduct patient assessments, therapy, non-invasive mechanical ventilation, and monitoring emergency procedures according to department and hospital policies and procedures.
