Position Summary
The Central Contra Costa Sanitary District is seeking a dedicated Control Systems Engineer to become a vital part of our Operations Optimizations Division. This role is essential for managing and enhancing the control systems at our wastewater treatment facilities and pumping stations across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Modicon programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to ensure efficient operations.
- Develop and maintain Wonderware and Dynac SCADA systems for real-time monitoring.
- Collaborate on the design and execution of significant wastewater management projects.
- Design, construct, and initiate control panels to optimize system performance.
- Oversee and maintain industrial communication networks to ensure reliability.
Qualifications
Experience: A minimum of five years in professional engineering focused on control systems or electrical engineering.
Education: A Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or a related discipline.
Licenses and Certifications: A professional engineer registration from the State of California is preferred.
