Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Medication Aide to join our team at Sun Terrace Prosser, a retirement and assisted living community. As a Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and safety of our senior residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Medication Administration: Complete nursing treatments, monitor residents' vital signs, and maintain accurate medication records.
  • Support Resident Care: Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, grooming, and administering medication, while promoting a dignified and respectful environment.
  • Communicate Effectively: Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other staff members to ensure seamless care and communication.
  • Maintain a Safe Environment: Store medications and equipment properly, maintain a clean and organized medication room, and adhere to infection control procedures.
  • Document Resident Progress: Accurately record resident information, including changes in condition, and maintain up-to-date records.
Requirements
  • Experience: Six months of experience in senior caregiving or med pass is preferred.
  • Certifications: Obtain CPR/BLS certification and compose reports in English.
