Position Overview

The Core Laboratory Pathology Manager is a critical role within our laboratory operations. This position is responsible for the successful management of our laboratory services, ensuring that we provide high-quality patient care and meet the needs of our customers. The successful candidate will have a strong background in laboratory management, with experience in supervising and managing teams, as well as a deep understanding of laboratory operations and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise laboratory personnel, ensuring that they have the necessary training and resources to perform their duties effectively.
  • Develop and implement laboratory policies and procedures, ensuring that they are aligned with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Oversee the financial management of laboratory expenses, including budgeting and cost control.
  • Ensure that laboratory operations are conducted in a safe and efficient manner, with a focus on quality and patient care.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives, ensuring that our laboratory services meet the highest standards of quality and patient safety.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that laboratory services are integrated into the overall healthcare delivery system.

Requirements

  • 4 years of management experience in a direct area of responsibility.
  • 5 years of clinical experience in a clinical laboratory.
  • Bachelor's degree in a life science, such as biology, chemistry, or microbiology.
  • Master's degree in business administration is preferred.
