Overview
The Behavior Support Resource Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the continuous enhancement and execution of a comprehensive behavior management framework and policies within the educational environment. This position involves providing non-professional guidance to students.

Responsibilities
Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.
- Ensure a safe learning atmosphere for students in accordance with the administrative policies and procedures of Arrow Center for Education Schools.
- Supervise students during activities to observe or influence changes in their social behavior, including instructing on rules and social etiquette in interpersonal relationships, as well as overseeing personal care.

- Develop counseling skills under supervision, focusing on enhancing the physical and emotional well-being of all students.
- Provide a consistent and dependable supportive presence within the school environment.
- Complete all necessary documentation to accurately track student progress, including Resource Room/Support Room records and Incident Reports.

- Actively participate as a member of the Treatment Team, observing, assessing, and communicating relevant information both orally and in writing.
- Assist in modeling behavior management techniques as outlined by Arrow Center for Education Schools Policies and Procedures, ensuring effective crisis management.

- Aid in the safe and timely transition of students to and from transportation providers.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of a positive school culture.
- Uphold proper rules, safety, and security for students, providing crisis intervention when necessary.
- Inform the Principal of all pertinent situations.
- Attend required training sessions and meetings.
- Communicate the mission and vision of Arrow Child & Family Ministries to staff, students, and families served.
- Perform all duties in compliance with contract, state and federal regulations, Arrow policy, and COA standards.
- May be required to operate ACFM vehicles, maintain insurability with the auto insurance provider, and complete Arrow's vehicle training.

Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED and a minimum of one (1) year of experience working with children and families, preferably in an educational setting, is required.
