The Total Rewards Analyst is a key member of the InsideHigherEd team, responsible for designing, implementing, and administering the institution's total rewards programs, including compensation and benefits. This role involves analyzing data, summarizing trends, conducting market research, and providing recommendations to ensure the institution's compensation and benefits packages are competitive, equitable, and aligned with the strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze data and trends to inform total rewards strategies and actions
  • Conduct market research to ensure competitiveness of compensation and benefits packages
  • Develop and implement total rewards programs and policies
  • Collaborate with HR professionals and leadership to determine total rewards strategies and actions
  • Contribute to special projects as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Two years of experience in human resources, benefits administration, or an analytical role
  • Knowledge of Human Resources principles and best practices, including benefits analysis
  • Knowledge of all applicable Federal, State, and local rules, regulations, and/or statutes
  • Knowledge of research methods and data analysis techniques and proficiency in Excel for analysis of data
  • Experience with customer service principles and exhibit customer service skills in daily work
  • Ability to address difficult situations in a constructive manner
  • Skills in conducting studies and preparing sound recommendations
  • Ability to analyze and interpret policies, practices, and procedures
  • Ability to prepare written reports for varied audiences
  • Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters and situations
  • Ability to understand and follow broad and complex instructions
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management
  • Three years of work experience in benefits administration and/or analysis
  • Work experience in higher education system or campus
  • PHR/SPHR/CCP or other related certification
