About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team at Walter P Moore. As a key member of our structures team, you will be responsible for performing structural computations, creating analysis models, and interpreting results for 2D and 3D structural frames.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform structural computations in the design and analysis of concrete, steel, or other miscellaneous structures.
  • Create analysis models and interpret results for 2D and 3D structural frames.
  • Assist with construction administrative tasks, including site visits and shop drawing review.
  • Understand load paths for gravity and lateral loads and calculate applicable loads based on appropriate building codes.
  • Assist with design drawings, quantities, cost estimates, specifications, reports, and other project deliverables while working with the structures team.
  • Prepare technical studies and reports.
Requirements
  • Master's in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural Engineering.
  • 4-8 years of experience.
  • P.E. license in your resident state required.
  • Experience with Revit, Rhino, or Grasshopper is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
