We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at ReStl Designers, Inc. in Washington, D.C.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced engineering professional to develop into a Principal leadership role with mentorship and guidance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a diverse and engaged team, developing and maintaining relationships with clients, partners, and employees, and balancing technical project management, business development, and people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design a wide variety of building structures utilizing concrete, steel, masonry, and wood construction.
  • Oversee construction administration activities on projects.
  • Monitor, manage, and achieve all assigned project deadlines.
  • Ensure client satisfaction with all aspects of engineering services.
  • Provide office leadership for the firm.

Requirements:

  • B.S. Civil Engineering; M.S. degree a plus, emphasis on structures.
  • Licensed PE.
  • Minimum of 15 years experience in design of multi-story buildings at structural consulting firm(s).
  • Experience managing projects and clients.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Experience in design using engineering software such as ETABS, RISA, SAFE, STAAD, RAM SS, ADAPT, EnerCalc.
