Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at Walter P Moore. As a key member of our Structures Group, you will be responsible for performing structural computations for the secure design and analysis of new and existing structures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performing structural computations for blast resistant design, progressive collapse, vehicle barrier analysis and design, and physical security consulting
  • Creating analysis models and interpreting results for 2D and 3D structural frames
  • Assisting with construction administrative tasks, including site visits, calculation review, and shop drawing review
  • Preparing technical studies and reports
  • Coordinating secure design project requirements with other project team disciplines

Requirements

  • Master's in Civil or Architectural Engineering with emphasis in Structural Engineering
  • P.E. License required
  • 6 - 11 years of experience
  • Demonstrated career growth that includes 3+ years project management of secure design projects preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong organizational skills
