Job Description:

Education:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the development of software/firmware test cases is essential.
  • A robust understanding and experience in BIOS firmware test planning and development, along with test methodologies and automation, is required. Proficiency in scripting languages (PERL, Python, Ruby) and programming (C/C++, Assembly) for Linux and Windows environments is expected.
  • Familiarity with industry standards related to PC/server initiatives, including PCIe (PCI Express), ACPI, UEFI, SMBIOS, JEDEC, IPMI, and common PC interface standards such as Ethernet, SATA, PCIe, USB, DDR, and Server Security Protocols is beneficial.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are crucial.

Debugging and Troubleshooting Skills:

  • Proven experience utilizing hardware and software debuggers, showcasing strong debugging and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Experience in Agile and milestone-driven product development, alongside knowledge of source control and build management, is advantageous.

Energetic, Motivated Self-Starter:

  • The ability to work autonomously, remain motivated, and uphold schedules and quality standards is essential.

Working Hours:

  • The Intermediate Firmware Testing Engineer position entails a hybrid work arrangement, combining remote and onsite responsibilities.
  • The expected working hours are from 7 am to 4 pm, with the requirement to be onsite two to three days per week.
  • Onsite workdays may necessitate working outside standard hours occasionally, depending on project needs.
  • This schedule aims to harmonize the advantages of onsite collaboration and access to lab equipment with the flexibility and productivity of remote work.
