**Job Summary:**

Government Jobs seeks a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for operating various heavy, large, and specialized equipment and vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate heavy equipment such as cranes, bulldozers, and excavators
  • Transport materials and equipment to and from job sites
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance

Supervision:

Receive general supervision from the City Engineer, Streets Superintendent, Street Supervisor, or designee.

Essential Functions:

  • Essential duties may include any of the following representative duties, knowledge, and skills
  • Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of equipment

Requirements:

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid commercial driver's license.
